Camped for the weekend to take an ADV Motorcycle training class this past weekend. While the class was great (Thanks Brett and Paul!) the real standout was Blair and Laura going to great lengths to make sure everyone’s’ stay was perfect. The breakfasts were amazing and delicious, with great coffee. The made sure everyone camping was staying warm when unexpected March snow came through. The were welcoming in every way. They truly give you a sense that you were staying as a family guest and not just an attendee. You certainly leave feeling like you are part of the Penmerryl family. Can’t wait to go back!

“Great place. We stayed one night and had a delicious hot breakfast. My friend and I were in town for a wedding shower and we both said we’ll come back. Our host was friendly and our stay was comfortable. Definitely recommend.”

“The property was beautiful. We went on several walks along the trails during our visit. They also have a lake on the property that apparently has great fishing. The breakfast was wonderful, and there was a swimming pool/common area that was great for groups/families.”

“Laura, Blair, and the rest of the team made our stay extraordinarily comfortable. They provided a light breakfast, and even dinner one night where the weather was bad. Their hospitality is truly unmatched. Fantastic place to unplug and get away. Pretty close to Shenandoah National Park and some hikes in the Saint Mary’s Wilderness and the George Washington National Forest. Can’t recommend them enough. Already planning our trip back.”

“Great hosts who went (way) out of their way to ensure everyone had a great time. Good food, nice setup and great riding.”

“I could write a book on how amazing this farm and its owners are. They are welcoming, kind, caring and the food is amazing. The rooms are immaculately clean. I love that they don’t have tv’s in the room so that you are encouraged to enjoy your surroundings. The horses are very friendly as are the donkeys. There are beautiful trails. Consider yourself lucky if the owners are there, as they provide the best conversations. We were told there is no part of the farm we could not explore. If that isn’t the best hospitality you’ve ever encountered, then I don’t know what is. If I could pack up my bags and live here all summer I would! Just a slice of heaven.”

“What an amazing place to camp, the staff was simply amazing, Blair and the entire staff was so accommodating. The food was spectacular! The scenery was astounding. The facility even supplied towels for the campers. The pool was clean and so refreshing after a bike ride on the trails at the farm.”

“Heaven on earth B&B not far from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Whether you’re into four legged wonders ( equestrian sports ) or two wheeled machines ( both motorized and non motorize bikes ), Penmerryl is the perfect stop for you. Perfect place to relax and enjoy some of the amenities from pool, massage, riding trails on property, tavern, and more. Gorgeous 130 acre property. I just came back from a motorcycle rally at Penmerryl. The hosts Laura, Blair, and rest of family will make you feel at home with all the hospitality and home cooking. The place is like nothing else I’ve visited. In a way, Penmerryl is like renting your own estate / resort for a few days. Perfect spot for small group of club training or get together. I am so looking forward to my next visit.”
