We take motorcycle-friendly to the next level at Penmerryl Farm. We welcome riders from all over the world to come and enjoy the great rides the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas have to offer. Between us we’ve owned and ridden just about every kind of bike out there, and we welcome riders of all types of bikes and from all walks of life. While we do have many miles of exciting ADV and Dual-Sport friendly trails on the farm, you’ll also find the surrounding areas to be breathtaking for both off-road and street riding.

Some things to keep in mind:

*Helmets must be worn at all times while operating a motorcycle on the property.

*Unfortunately we can not permit ATVs or Dirt Bikes. Bikes must be street legal, registered, and operated by a licensed rider. Our insurance company says so.

*If you are interested in coming and using the facilities on the farm, please check with us in advance to make sure there are no conflicting events that may limit access to training fields and trails.

Our Location

We are conveniently located near I-81, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, Hwy 250, and the Mid-Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route (MABDR). We are happy to act as basecamp for individuals or groups planning to explore the area, and are equally as thrilled to act as a convenient overnight stop. There are many routes that begin as soon as you turn out of our driveway, and we can provide recommendations, mapped routes, or even guided rides depending on your preferences. Whether you’re into sport-touring, adventure touring, dual-sport, or supermoto, the routing here is simply the best. There are endless dirt, gravel, and forest roads to explore within minutes of the farm. Not to mention some of the best pavement you’ve never even heard of…

Motorcycle Amenities

During your stay, feel free to use our pressure washer, tire changer, select shop tools, air compressor, and motorcycle lift – free of charge. We can supply you with chain lube and cleaner, GPS routing, training, lead rides, self-lead rides, and more. Penmerryl is for motorcyclists, by motorcyclists. If you need something – just ask.
